Fashion For A King is a 512 page Hardcover book from FTD by Pål Granlund and Kenny Kjøhl. This is an impressive document of all the outfits Elvis performed in through his career from 1968 and onwards. The book is full of fantastic, previously unreleased, rare and classic photos, all linked together by text written by Tommy Edvardsen and Atle Larsen. The 2 CDs contain two great soundboard recored concerts. This is a huge work, the weight is approx. 3 kg [6 Pounds for USA] and the sze, 30.5cm [12"] x 25.4cm [12"] x 3.7cm [1.5"].

Our preview gives a complete overview of what the book is about. You will see it can stand alone as a quality Elvis photo book period! But then it has the added bonus of being the ultimate encyclopedia on Elvis' stage suits. And that is just the book, to add extra value there are two CDs with two concerts from 1974 and 1975 provided by FTD. On this first page of the preview you will see one of the rarest and most unusual photos of Elvis Presley from July 31, 1969 live on stage. A good example of the quality of the book and again, its bona fides as a quality photo book in its own right. The 'parade' footage is good to see as it puts you in the right context with color and b&w footage. The interviews of Elvis' Parents are well worth hearing too. The afternoon show footage is wonderful and electrifying : Here is Elvis in his prime rocking and rolling in front of 11.000 people. Highly recommended.
